The Ideal-Air Dehumidifiers are now rated at AHAM standards (80°F, 60% Relative Humidity). There is no change to the unit itself, only to the temperature and humidity at which the reading is being taken from. Previously they were rated at a higher temperature and humidity level based on hydroponic industry standard usage (86°F, 80% Relative Humidity). Units should not be run without ducting or the top of the unit may be covered in water and shut off. Please don’t fill the unit through the discharge piping outlets. Doing this will overfill the tank and prevent the unit from creating humidity. The unit should only be filled through the provided hose and float valve to ensure proper water level and correct operation.
